The CardioStream™ concept originated in 2002 when two
physicians began to take notice of the time and process needed
to acquire a final report for cardiac ultrasound exams completed
in their office.
Not
only did the use of VCR's and written reports seem antiquated;
the time needed to send off the preliminary
report for interpretation
and return of the final report delayed the patient care continuum.
After
conferring with healthcare professionals and engaging
the support of clinical, networking, and programming professionals—CardioStream
was born.
CardioStream
didn't want to develop a product that offered the same
old solutions,
they wanted to utilize the power of
the web and move clinical data by a method that is convenient
and accessible for clinicians. |
